Dr. Kayleigh McCauley
Founder, Out In Athletics
McCauley has over 10 years of experience working in Student-Athlete Development at NCAA Division I, II, and III institutions. She is a leading practitioner-scholar in LGBTQA+ issues in intercollegiate athletics. McCauley graduated from the University of New England with a B.S. in Exercise and Health Promotion in 2007, earned her M.S. in Sport Management from East Stroudsburg University in 2009, and her Ed.D. in Educational Leadership in 2014 from Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi.
Dr. McCauley founded Out in Athletics in hopes to provide athletic administrators, coaches, and student-athletes the skills and tools to create inclusive and diverse environments within their athletics departments. McCauley aims to offer comprehensive training, policy development, policy implementation, and consulting services through her work with Out in Athletics.
